GOD WORKS IN FAMILY Galatians 4:4-7 - Let’s focus on Galatians 4:5b-7 (NASB) .. "that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba! Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God." God is at work adopting us into His family. Galatians 4:5b Spiritual Adoption Galatians 3:27 - Immersed—baptized into Christ. - Covered—clothed with Christ. God is at work blessing us because we are His family. Galatians 4:6-7 Relational Reality Galatians 3:28-29 - Every divide and difference is taken away. - Every promise is guaranteed. Next steps: Two important things to remember about being in God’s family: - Don’t allow human family imperfection to keep you from being blessed by God’s perfection. - God always desires to grow His family—invite others to join in!
