Forgiveness equals forgetfulness. 2. Forgiveness lets them off the hook. 3. Forgiveness means I don’t feel hurt anymore. 4. Forgiveness means we will be back to the way we were. Romans 12:17-21 Philemon 17 - So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would me. - God has prepared a place for you and me. John 14:2-3 Forgiveness means I will treat others the way Christ has treated me. Philemon 18 - And if he has wronged you in any way, or owes you anything, charge that to my account. - We must charge the wrongs done to us to His account. Forgiveness sometimes requires going above and beyond what is expected. - The way we love and forgive others is done in the arena of community.
