Power: dynamis, the ability of God or people to carry out their purposes. Does my life look more like a display of my power or His? Prayer is what connects his power to our purpose. John 15:16-17(ESV): “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.” Ephesians 6:19(ESV) “[Pray] for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel.” Colossians 4:3(ESV) “Pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ”.
