Anything and Everything Series THE GREATEST TRADE Philippians 4:6-7 How to trade our unknowns for God’s peace! We make a trade that God never intends for us to make. - Do not be anxious about anything. - Do pray about everything. Here’s where we make the wrong flip: - We are anxious about everything. - We do not pray about anything. God desires for us to have joy even when we face the unknowns of life. Consider Paul’s unknowns as he writes this letter: Philippians 1:12-13 - He’s in prison—but still rejoicing. - He may face death—but still rejoicing. Philippians 1:18-20 We can have joy in the unknowns. - We must have confident hope. Confident hope brings the peace of God. We must make a trade that God intends for all to make. We can have the peace of God. Philippians 4:7 - It surpasses all understanding. - It guards your heart and mind. We cannot skip the first trade that must be made. - We want the peace of God. - We don’t have the God of Peace. Philippians 4:9 Next Step: The Greatest Trade is trading our unbelief for belief in Jesus! - We cannot have the peace of God without the God of peace.
