“FEARLESS” OUR GREAT INTERCESSORS Romans 8:26-30 Jesus is praying for us! (Romans 8:34) Jesus is praying - with the promise of bringing us HOME! Here’s the reality: Until we get home - This life can be hard. This life can be difficult. This life can be painful. The Holy Spirit is praying with the promise of bringing us HELP! Romans 8:26-27 The Holy Spirit is our Helper. - In our weakness He prays for us.. .. weakness is the Greek word astheneia. .. want of strength, weakness, infirmity of the body. .. feebleness of health or sickness of the soul. .. want of strength and capacity requisite to understand a thing. .. to bear trials and troubles. - In God’s will He prays for us. The Holy Spirit is providing a promise of bringing us HEALING! Romans 8:28-30 Through the Holy Spirit.. we begin to see God’s sovereignty. - All things are being worked in our life by a sovereign God. .. They are for our good. .. They are for His glory. Through the Holy Spirit.. we experience God’s work of sanctification. - We are "in process" of being made more like Jesus. Through the Holy Spirit.. we trust in God’s security. - No Condemnation = No Separation - God is the one who is doing all this in our life - "HE..." .. foreknew .. predestined .. called .. justified .. glorified Next Steps: Remember you have two Great Intercessors! - Jesus is praying for you… You will get HOME! - The Holy Spirit is praying for you… You will get HELP and HEALING! Ask the Holy Spirit to help you in your weakness.
