Jesus commends Ephesus for their works - They were a hard-working church. - They did the right things. - They went through hardships, called out false apostles, and had not stopped doing good. Steps of Recovery from Apathy Step 1. Remember How Far You Have Fallen Step 2: Repent Step 3: Do The Works You Did At First If we are not submitting our lives to Him in worship, then how can we know that we are even saved? Next Steps: Apathy Reflection 1. On a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being completely apathetic to 10 being passionately following Jesus, where are you? 2. Take time in prayer to confess your apathy to God and repent of it. Then listen for His voice in your life. 3. Pray for God to show you how to offer your body/life as a living sacrifice to Him.
